Poland outscore the hosts in Pitesti at the start of the U20 European Championship: in Division B. Poland enjoyed a 92:62 win in Group last game of the day. Both teams scored 16 points each in the first period, but then Poland took control of the game. The guest won the second frame 26-14 and won the first half by 12 points. Poland added 23-18 rally in the third quarter and finished the game with 27-14 burst. Karolak Jakub scored the last 4 points for the winners for a 30-point total win. Ponitka Mateusz stepped up with 18 points for the winners, while Karnowski Przemyslaw, Michalak Michal and Kowalczyk Sebastian brought 11 each. Karolak Jakub followed them with 10 points. Olah Alexandru ended up with 17 points in defeat and Cristiean Horia as well as Lazar Mario poured in 9 apiece. Damian Andrei and Filip Ioan netted 7 points apiece.
