Regular Season Round 3: Falcon - Naestved 85-66

Naestved (1-1) recorded its first loss on the court of Falcon on Thursday night. Visitors were rolled over by Falcon 85-66. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-66. Falcon dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Naestved's 46. They outrebounded Naestved 39-27 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward Durell Vinson (201-85, college: Wagner) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 20 rebounds. Forward Christian Thomsen (200-84) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. Four Falcon players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Nigerian-Canadian power forward Afamefuna Quincy Okolie (203-88, college: Northwood, FL) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and British power forward Liam Potter (213-86, college: Sacred Heart) added 12 points respectively. Naestved's coach Felix Banobre rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.
