Regular Season Round 3: Brose Bask. - Walter Tigers 85-62

Not a big story in a game when Walter Tigers (0-3) were outscored by Brose Bask. (2-1) in Bamberg 85-62. The game was mostly controlled by Brose Bask.. Walter Tigers was better in fourth quarter 13-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Brose Bask. forced 21 Walter Tigers turnovers. Strangely Walter Tigers outrebounded Brose Bask. 42-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Jamar Smith (191-87, college: S.Indiana, agency: KMG Sports Management) who scored 22 points and 5 assists. American-Bosnian guard Zack Wright (191-85, college: Central Mo.) chipped in 15 points. Four Brose Bask. players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Johannes Lischka (203-87, agency: LUMANI 10.7) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and American point guard Jonathan Wallace (187-86, college: Georgetown, agency: Pro One Sports) added 17 points respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Brose Bask.'s next round opponent will be Artland Dragons in Quakenbrueck. Walter Tigers will play at home against Mitteldeutscher BC and hope to get finally their first victory.
