Regular Season Round 3: Ludwigsburg - B.Muenchen 71-95
Date: October 9, 2013
Another interesting game for Bayern Muenchen (3-0) which played on the court of EnBW Ludwigsburg (2-1). Bayern Muenchen crushed hosts 95-71. The game without a history. Bayern Muenchen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 27-of-35 charity shots (77.1 percent) during the game. Bayern Muenchen shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. It was a great evening for American guard Malcolm Delaney (191-89, college: Virginia Tech) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Bosnian forward Nihad Djedovic (197-90, agency: Beo Basket) helped adding 16 points. Five Bayern Muenchen players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American Keaton Grant (193-86, college: Purdue) with 16 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import point guard C.J. Harris (191-91, college: Wake Forest) scored 17 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bayern Muenchen will play against BBC Bayreuth at home in the next round. EnBW Ludwigsburg will play against ALBA Berlin and hopes to get back on the winning track.
