Another interesting game for Osnabruck (2-1) which played on the court of Don Bosco Bamberg (1-2). Osnabruck crushed hosts 73-51. The game without a history. Osnabruck led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 16-of-18 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American swingman Kendall Rodriguez (183-91, college: Pacific) who led her team to a victory scoring 19 points and 7 rebounds. Jessica Hootmann (190-85) helped adding 12 points and 13 rebounds. Four Osnabruck players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American point guard Taleya Mayberry (167-91, college: Tulsa) with 21 points and 4 assists and the other American import center Brett Benzio (190-90, college: Tulane) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Osnabruck will play against Eisvogel Freiburg (#10) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Don Bosco Bamberg will play against Donau-Ries (#9) in Noerdlingen to get more than just one victory in their record.
