We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th ranked Giessen 46ers (1-2) were defeated on the road by ninth ranked BG Goettingen (2-2) 88-81 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 25-13 charge, which allowed them to win the game. BG Goettingen outrebounded Giessen 46ers 40-26 including 19 on the offensive glass.
