There was no surprise in Kaunas where 11th ranked Radviliskis (1-3) was defeated by ninth ranked Zalgiris II (2-1) 78-66. Radviliskis was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 42-27 second half run of Zalgiris II. They outrebounded Radviliskis 45-32 including 33 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by Justas Tamulis (194-94, agency: Beo Basket) who scored that evening 28 points (perfect from downtown making all five shots) and point guard Lukas Lekavicius (176-94) supported him with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds by center Agnius Gurklys (205-88) did not help to save the game for Radviliskis. point guard Rytis Rauktys (186-84) added 10 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zalgiris II moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Triobet.
