Regular Season Round 3: Amager - Horsens 102-57

Amager delivered the third consecutive victory. This time they crushed Horsens (1-2) 102-57 in Kastrup. The game without a history. Amager led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Horsens to just 7 points in third quarter. Amager dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Horsens' 24. Amager forced 21 Horsens turnovers and outrebounded them 41-24 including 30 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Horsens' players. It was a good game for American power forward Keyona Bryant (186-90, college: St.Augustine) who led her team to a victory with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Forward Emilie Keller (177-92) contributed with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Amager players scored in double figures. Guard Rebecca Houmoller (175-92) answered with 23 points and forward Pernille Pedersen (178) added 16 points in the effort for Horsens. Amager will play against Vaerlose (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Horsens will play against Falcon (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
