Regular Season Round 5: Naestved - Aalborg 84-70

Bottom-ranked Aalborg is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to eighth ranked Naestved (2-2) 84-70. Aalborg was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 34-14 third quarter run of Naestved. The best player for the winners was American forward Morgan Sabia (203-89, college: Hartford, agency: SDJ Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds. Nigerian-Canadian power forward Afamefuna Quincy Okolie (203-88, college: Northwood, FL) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds. Four Naestved players scored in double figures. Naestved's coach Felix Banobre allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Trinidad and Tobago-Canadian point guard Joey Haywood (185-84, college: St.Mary's) produced a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds and American forward Joe Burton (201, college: Oregon St.) added 20 points and 15 rebounds respectively for the guests. Naestved moved-up to fourth place, which they share with SISU and Falcon. Aalborg at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Naestved's next round opponent will be higher ranked Svendborg (#3) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
