BBL top team - Bayern Muenchen (4-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked BBC Bayreuth (2-2) 103-70. The game without a history. Bayern Muenchen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to BBC Bayreuth's 28 and made 25-of-30 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded BBC Bayreuth 42-29 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Bayern Muenchen especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 66.7 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a very good performance for American center John Bryant (208-87, college: Santa Clara) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds. The other American import Bryce Taylor (193-86) contributed with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Bayern Muenchen's coach Svetislav Pesic felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American-Puerto Rican point guard Kevin Hamilton (193-84, college: Holy Cross) replied with 11 points and 6 rebounds and American center Brian Qvale (210-88, college: Montana) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for BBC Bayreuth. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Bayern Muenchen have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. BBC Bayreuth at the other side dropped to the seventh place with two games lost. Bayern Muenchen's next round opponent will be Deutsche Bank Skyliners (#11) in Frankfurt and are hoping to win another game.
