The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 29-16. But Gaz Metan won second period 15-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Steaua CSM forced 19 Gaz Metan turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Steaua CSM especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. It was an exceptional evening for Jamaican-Canadian guard Garry Gallimore (192-84) who led the winners and scored 15 points and 6 rebounds.
