Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Suduva-Mantinga (4-4) lost on the road to ninth ranked Vilnius-MRU (3-5) 73-61 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-61. Guard Dominykas Domarkas (188-92) nailed 16 points for the winning side and forward Tadas Padegimas (203-90) accounted for 16 points. Four Vilnius-MRU players scored in double figures. Vilnius-MRU's coach Mindaugas Sakalauskas used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Audrius Mineikis (201-77) came up with 16 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and forward Marius Valukonis (198-88) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Suduva-Mantinga in the defeat. Despite that victory Vilnius-MRU went down to tenth position due to points difference, which they share with Zanavykas. Loser Suduva-Mantinga dropped to the eighth place with four games lost. Vilnius-MRU will meet Zanavykas (#11) in the next round. Suduva-Mantinga will play against Silute and hope to secure a win.
