Undefeated leader Bakken delivered the fifth consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they beat 7th ranked Falcon (2-4) 85-80. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 45-36 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for American guard Kenny Barker (191-86, college: Alaska-Anch.) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 7 assists. His fellow American import forward Brandon Penn (203-90, college: Rider, agency: I.D.S. Law) helped adding 23 points. Four Bakken players scored in double figures. Bakken's coach Ville Tuominen used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side international forward Alexander Bak (193-91) responded with 28 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists and American forward Durell Vinson (201-85, college: Wagner) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points, 18 rebounds and 5 blocks. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Bakken. Defending champion maintains first place with 5-0 record, which they share with Randers. Newly promoted Falcon dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. They share it with Horsholm and Horsens IC. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
