Rather predictable result in Kedainiai where top-ranked Nevezis (3-0) beat 8th ranked LSU-Atletas (1-3) 77-71 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 20-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-71. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Tyrone Brazelton (186-86, college: W.Kentucky, agency: Higher Vision Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 assists and guard Gintaras Leonavicius (194-83, agency: Players Group) who added 14 points during the contest. Five Nevezis players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Sarunas Vingelis (191-89) responded with 22 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Karolis Babkauskas (186-91) scored 15 points and 6 assists. Nevezis have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Lietuvos rytas. Loser LSU-Atletas dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with Juventus. Nevezis will meet at home league's leader Tonybet in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. LSU-Atletas will have a break next round.
