Bottom-ranked Farul Const. is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to twelfth ranked Gaz Metan (2-2) 137-44 on Saturday evening. The game without a history. Gaz Metan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Farul Const. to just 7 points in first and second quarters and to 14 points in first half. Gaz Metan well out of reach of Farul Const. shooting 72.7 percent from the field and made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Gaz Metan forced 40 Farul Const. turnovers and outrebounded them 35-16 including a 25-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Gaz Metan looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Farul Const.'s players. The winners were led by Belarusian-Moldovan Vladislav Solopa (202-95) who scored that evening 19 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and Serbian forward Slavisa Bogavac (200-80, agency: BeoExcell) supported him with 19 points and 4 steals (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Gaz Metan moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Farul Const. at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Concordia. Gaz Metan will meet league's leader Oradea on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Farul Const. will play against Pitesti (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
