DBBL round 4 caused change at the leadership position. First defeat of league's leader ChemCats Chemnitz (3-1) against top-ranked SV Halle Lions (4-0) 73-60 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of ChemCats Chemnitz. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by SV Halle Lions. ChemCats Chemnitz managed to win fourth quarter 21-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded ChemCats Chemnitz 48-21 including a 20-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international power forward Katharina Fikiel (194-87) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Rhein MB. Newly promoted ChemCats Chemnitz dropped to the third place with one game lost.
