No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked TSV 1880 Wasserburg (3-1) beat at home 7th ranked Oberhausen (1-3) 64-57. It looked good early as Oberhausen took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then TSV 1880 Wasserburg had a 19-9 second period charge getting the lead and Oberhausen was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 57-64. TSV 1880 Wasserburg forced 23 Oberhausen turnovers. American Emma Cannon (187-89, college: Cent.Florida) fired 9 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. The other American import Melissa Jeltema (175-88, college: Oakland) chipped in 18 points. Fijian guard Valerie Nainima (168-86, college: S.Carolina) produced 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international Birte Thimm (180-87) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side.
