But Istanbul DSI was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Bursa 105-97 on Wednesday night. Istanbul DSI trailed by 13 points at halftime and as many as 14 after three quarters before a 32-26 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 97-105 at the end of the game. Final Genclik shot 62.5 percent from the field and made 28-of-34 free shots (82.4 percent) during the game. Istanbul DSI was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American forward Marshall Moses (198-89, college: Oklahoma St.) who scored 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. point guard Erdem Ilter (188-90) chipped in 22 points and 4 assists. Final Genclik's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Damier Pitts (177-89, college: Marshall, agency: Two Points) who recorded 19 points and 8 assists and forward Erdal Albayrak (192-86) added 20 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Final Genclik will face Darussafaka in Istanbul in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Istanbul DSI will play on the road against Pertevniyal (#11) in Istanbul and hopes to get finally their first victory.
