Regular Season Round 4: Botas - Tarsus Bld 73-84

Date: October 30, 2013
Tarsus Bld has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive loses. The win is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Botas (2-2)on the road game in Adana 84-73. The game was mostly controlled by Tarsus Bld. Botas was better in second period 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Tarsus Bld shot 60.7 percent from the field. The winners were led by American Delisha Milton-Jones (186-74, college: Florida, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who scored that evening 26 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Bulgarian-American point guard Doneeka Hodges-Lewis (175-82, college: LSU, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 17 points and 5 assists. Even 27 points and 9 rebounds by American center Michelle Snow (196-80, college: Tennessee, agency: LBM Management) did not help to save the game for Botas. Hungarian power forward Anna Vadja (191-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas) added 21 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Tarsus Bld (1-3) left bottom position moving up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Botas at the other side dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Tarsus Bld will play against Konak (#10) in Izmir in the next round. Botas will play on the road against the league's second-placed Kayseri (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
