Regular Season Round 6: Vaerlose - SISU 51-77

Top-ranked SISU blasted bottom-ranked Vaerlose (0-6) in Vaerlose 77-51 on Sunday evening keeping the perfect record after 6 rounds. Vaerlose is still unable to win any game. The game without a history. SISU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Vaerlose's 20. SISU forced 31 Vaerlose turnovers. It was a good game for Kiki Lund (177-83, college: Dayton) who led her team to a victory with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Tea Jorgensen (177-87) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Four SISU players scored in double figures. Canadian center Janet Hatfield (190-85) replied with 4 points and 14 rebounds and American Devon Quattrochi added 13 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) in the effort for Vaerlose. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SISU (7-0) have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion (7-0) keeps a position of league leader. Vaerlose at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. They share the position with Virum. SISU are looking forward to face league's second-placed Amager in Kastrup in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Vaerlose will play on the road against Lemvig (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
