The most shocking disappointment of round 6 was only one-point a home defeat of 6th ranked Craiova (3-3) to seventh ranked U-Mobitelco (4-2) 87-86. 28 personal fouls committed by Craiova helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Montenegrin guard Branko Cuic (197-78, agency: 011 Sports) had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Mihai Silvasan (200-85, agency: Court Side) chipped in 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Travis Bureau (203-88, college: La-Lafayette) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and Greek-Estonian point guard Sten-Timmu Sokk (183-89) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Four U-Mobitelco and five Craiova players scored in double figures. U-Mobitelco moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Rovinari and BC Timisoara. Craiova at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. U-Mobitelco is looking forward to face Gaz Metan (#11) in Medias in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Craiova will play on the road against CSU Sibiu (#3) and is hoping to win this game.
