The game with biggest result difference took place in Kayseri. Local Kayseri (5-0) outscored 8th ranked Botas (2-3) 85-58 on Sunday night. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Kayseri dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Botas' 26. They outrebounded Botas 42-23 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kayseri shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. The best player for the winners was Spanish point guard Nuria Martinez (175-84) who scored 17 points and 4 assists. Naturalized American LaToya Sanders (191-86, college: N.Carolina) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Five Kayseri players scored in double figures. American center Michelle Snow (196-80, college: Tennessee, agency: LBM Management) produced 20 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized American swingman Barbara Turner (183-84, college: Connecticut, agency: 1x1 Sports) added 14 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Kayseri. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Galatasaray. Loser Botas keeps the eighth place with three games lost. Kayseri will face Konak (#10) in Izmir in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Botas will play at home against Besiktas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
