Bottom-ranked Aalborg managed to get a second victory, breaking the two-game losing streak. This time they won against eighth-ranked Falcon 82-76. Falcon was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 45-37 second half run of Aalborg. Strangely Falcon outrebounded Aalborg 44-32 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Joe Burton (201, college: Oregon St.) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 8 rebounds. Trinidad and Tobago-Canadian point guard Joey Haywood (185-84, college: St.Mary's) contributed with 19 points and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Durell Vinson (201-85, college: Wagner) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 19 rebounds and point guard Jonas Bertram Bro (186-87) added 17 points and 5 assists in the effort for Falcon. Five Aalborg and four Falcon players scored in double figures. Aalborg (2-6) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Falcon and Vaerlose. Falcon lost fourth consecutive game. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
