Bottom-ranked TED Ankara is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to fifth ranked Ceyhan Bld (4-2) 61-60 on Saturday evening. TED Ankara cut a 16-point halftime deficit to one at the end of the game. Ceyhan Bld forced 19 TED Ankara turnovers. Strangely TED Ankara outrebounded Ceyhan Bld 39-27 including 24 on the defensive glass. American D'Andra Moss (178-88, college: VCU, agency: Regeneracom Sports) notched 25 points and 4 steals (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) to lead the effort and American-Slovakian forward Erin Marie Lawless (185-85, college: Purdue, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 12 points and 6 rebounds. Ceyhan Bld's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 23 points and 5 assists by Lithuanian guard Kamile Nacickaite (180-89, college: Drexel) did not help to save the game for TED Ankara. American center Marcedes Marie Walker (191-86, college: Pittsburgh, agency: LBM Management) added 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Ceyhan Bld moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser TED Ankara still closes the standings with six games lost. Ceyhan Bld will meet at home Istanbul Universitesi (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. TED Ankara will play against Orduspor (#12) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
