Very expected game in Akdeniz where 13th ranked Mersin (1-4) was defeated by sixth ranked TED Kolejliler (4-1) 84-80 on Saturday. TED Kolejliler shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Mersin was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Montenegrin-Serbian center Vladimir Golubovic (213-86, agency: Beo Basket) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Serbian point guard Aleksandar Rasic (195-84, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 19 points and 8 assists.
