Seventh ranked Aabyhoj (3-4) crushed at home 8th ranked Horsens (1-6) by 49 points 89-40, which is the biggest margin this round. The game was mostly controlled by Aabyhoj. Horsens was better in second period 16-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Horsens to just 2 points in fourth quarter and to 12 points in second half. Aabyhoj held Horsens to an opponent 23.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 37.5 percent accuracy of the winners. Aabyhoj's coach Thomas Johansen felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. point guard Sarah Bersang (168-95) answered with 9 points and 5 rebounds and forward Emily White (186-92) added 3 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Horsens. Aabyhoj moved-up to sixth place. Horsens lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with six games lost. Aabyhoj's next round opponent will be higher ranked Horsholm (#4) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Horsens will play against Lemvig (#5) and hope to win that game.
