The game in Odessa was also worth to mention about. 7th ranked Halychyna (2-3) played at the court of eighth ranked BC Odessa (3-2). BC Odessa defeated Halychyna 69-54. The game was mostly controlled by BC Odessa. Halychyna was better in third quarter 23-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Halychyna to just 6 points in first quarter and to 13 points in first half. BC Odessa players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American guard Justin Love (189-78, college: St.Louis) stepped up and scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and his fellow American import guard Terrell Everett (193-84, college: Oklahoma) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four BC Odessa players scored in double figures. Serbian power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, agency: Beo Basket) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and American point guard Darrel Mitchell (181-84, college: LSU, agency: Beo Basket) scored 8 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. BC Odessa moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Ferro-ZNTU and SC Kryvbas. Halychyna at the other side dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. They share it with Budivelnyk. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
