2.Bundesliga top team - Rotenburg/Scheessel (8-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Lichterfelde (3-5) 85-51. The game without a history. Rotenburg/Scheessel led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Lichterfelde to just 7 points in second quarter. Rotenburg/Scheessel dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Lichterfelde's 28. They maintain first position in North with 8-0 record. Newly promoted Lichterfelde dropped to the ninth place with five games lost. Rotenburg/Scheessel will face SG BBZ Opladen (#4) in Leverkusen in the next round. Lichterfelde will play at home against Hagen Phoenix (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
