Date: November 16, 2013
Very predictable result when fourth ranked EWE Baskets (7-1) rolled over bottom-ranked s Oliver Baskets (1-8) in Wuerzburg 79-60 on Saturday. The game without a history. EWE Baskets led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. It was a good game for American point guard Julius Jenkins (187-81, college: Georgia South, agency: Pro One Sports) who led his team to a victory with 19 points (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). His fellow American import point guard Dru Joyce (183-85, college: Akron, agency: LUMANI 10.7) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Five EWE Baskets players scored in double figures. American guard Ricky Harris (187-87, college: Massachusetts, agency: Three Eye Sports) answered with 16 points and forward Ruben Spoden (202-89) added 13 points in the effort for s Oliver Baskets. Loser s Oliver Baskets stay at the bottom position with eight games lost. EWE Baskets will face SC Rasta Vechta (#15) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. s Oliver Baskets will play against the league's leader Bayern Muenchen and hope to win that game.
