Not a big story in a game when 13th ranked Magdeburg (2-7) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Giessen 46ers (6-3) 83-72 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they stormed back getting tie in the second period and winning the second half and won the game by 11 points. Giessen 46ers outrebounded Magdeburg 41-23 including 18 on the offensive glass. Magdeburg was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. British forward Myles Hesson (198-90) scored 22 points to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Joshiko Saibou (188-90, agency: Pro One Sports) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds during the contest.
