Rather expected game when 10th ranked St.Polten (1-7) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Gmunden Swans (4-4) 92-81. St.Polten was ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 42-26 second half run of Gmunden Swans. They dominated on the defensive end, holding St.Polten to just 5 points in third quarter.
