Important game to mention about took place in Aalborg. Fourth ranked Horsholm (5-4) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 9th ranked Aalborg (2-7) 90-87 on Wednesday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Aalborg was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 27-16 third quarter run of Horsholm. The best for the losing side was Trinidad and Tobago-Canadian point guard Joey Haywood (185-84, college: St.Mary's) with 35 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Joe Burton (201, college: Oregon St.) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds. Horsholm have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 5-4 record. Aalborg at the other side dropped to the seventh place with seven games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Horsholm will play against higher ranked Randers (#3) at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Aalborg will play against Vaerlose (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
