Regular Season Round 7: Hoverla - Azovmash 93-96

Let's start with guest Azovmash's (5-2) road victory over Hoverla (#4) 96-93 on Friday evening. Azovmash forced 20 Hoverla turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 29 personal fouls committed by Hoverla helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American power forward Coleman Collins (207-86, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Beo Basket) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Australian-Dutch power forward Daniel Kickert (208-83, college: St.Mary's, CA) chipped in 27 points and 5 rebounds. Four Azovmash players scored in double figures. American power forward Travis Peterson (208-85, college: Samford) produced 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Seamus Boxley (201-82, college: Portland St.) added 20 points respectively for lost side. Hoverla's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Azovmash have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Despite that victory Azovmash went down to third position due to points difference. Hoverla at the other side dropped to the fifth place with three games lost. They share the position with Ferro-ZNTU and SC Kryvbas. Azovmash are looking forward to face Budivelnyk (#8) in Kyiv in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Hoverla will play on the road against BC Kyiv and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
