Very predictable result when fourth ranked Akhisar Bld (7-2) won against at home 14th ranked Hacettepe (3-6) 92-77. The game was mostly controlled by Akhisar Bld. Hacettepe was better in fourth quarter 31-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Akhisar Bld players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Emre Ozpulat (200-82) who scored 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). American point guard Nic Wise (178-87, college: Arizona) chipped in 19 points and 6 assists. Akhisar Bld's coach Zafer Aktas allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Cihad Sahin (203-83) who recorded 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Nezih Ozbakir (206-80) added 23 points respectively. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Akhisar Bld. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Balikesir and Darussafaka. Hacettepe lost their third game in a row. They keep the fourteenth place with six games lost. Akhisar Bld's next round opponent will be Antalya (#12) on the road which should be an easy win for them.
