Not a big story in a game in Oldenburg where 16th ranked SC Rasta Vechta (2-8) was defeated by second ranked EWE Baskets (8-1) 87-74 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. EWE Baskets made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. American point guard Dru Joyce (183-85, college: Akron, agency: LUMANI 10.7) scored 14 points and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Italian center Andrea Crosariol (210-84, college: Fair Dickinson) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. SC Rasta Vechta will play at home against BBC Bayreuth (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
