An interesting game took place in Hagen where 8th ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (5-5) was upset on the court of eleventh ranked Phoenix Hagen (5-4) 85-80 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 42-34 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Phoenix Hagen made 39-of-44 free shots (88.6 percent) during the game. Loser EnBW Ludwigsburg dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. They share it with NY Phantoms and Fraport SKY. Phoenix Hagen will meet Deutsche Bank Skyliners (#11) in the next round. EnBW Ludwigsburg will play against TBB Trier and hope to secure a win.
