Regular Season Round 9: CSU Sibiu - Pitesti 91-71

Liga Nationala top team - CSU Sibiu (8-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked Pitesti (4-5) 91-71. The game was mostly controlled by CSU Sibiu. Pitesti was better in second period 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American center Christopher Lee (206-84, college: S.Carolina St., agency: Duran International) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Serbian guard Milos Bojovic (198-81, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 24 points and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was Senegalese power forward Ousmane Barro (207-84, college: Marquette) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and American Lamonte Ulmer (198-86, college: Rhode Island) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Five CSU Sibiu and four Pitesti players scored in double figures. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for CSU Sibiu. They maintain first place with 8-1 record, which they share with Ploiesti. Pitesti at the other side dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. They share it with BC Timisoara. CSU Sibiu will play against BC Timisoara (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pitesti will play against Timba Timosoara and hopes to get back on the winning track.
