Undefeated leader Galatasaray delivered the eighth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 7th ranked Ceyhan Bld (4-4) 74-38 in Istanbul. The game without a history. Galatasaray led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Ceyhan Bld to just 4 points in second quarter and to 12 points in first half. Galatasaray dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Ceyhan Bld's 28. They outrebounded Ceyhan Bld 39-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Galatasaray especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 76.9 percentage. American center Kelsey Bone (193-91, college: Texas A&M) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. International center Nevriye Yilmaz (194-80) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Galatasaray players scored in double figures. Galatasaray's coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American D'Andra Moss (178-88, college: VCU, agency: Regeneracom Sports) replied with 12 points and 7 rebounds and Chilean center Ziomara Morrison (193-89, agency: Regeneracom Sports) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Ceyhan Bld. Galatasaray (8-0) have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 8 victories in a row, which they share with Kayseri. Ceyhan Bld at the other side dropped to the sixth place with four games lost. They share the position with Besiktas and Mersin. Galatasaray will play against Orduspor (#12) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them.
