Undefeated leader Gruner Stern Keltern delivered the ninth consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 8th ranked TG 1889 Sandhausen (4-5) 86-50. The game without a history. Gruner Stern Keltern led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding TG 1889 Sandhausen to just 7 points in second quarter. Gruner Stern Keltern dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to TG 1889 Sandhausen's 26. They outrebounded TG 1889 Sandhausen 54-27 including a 35-15 advantage in defensive rebounds.
