Regular Season Round 10: Final Genclik - Vestel 78-73

An interesting game took place in Bursa where higher ranked Vestel (5-5) was upset on the court of thirteenth ranked Final Genclik (4-5) 78-73 on Wednesday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Vestel won fourth quarter 24-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Final Genclik had a 25-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. American guard Reginald Holmes (193-87, college: Morgan St., agency: Two Points) scored 23 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Marshall Moses (198-89, college: Oklahoma St.) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side forward Gokhan Orcun Tunca (201-80) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and Nigerian center Kenny Adeleke (205-83, college: Hartford) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds. Five Vestel players scored in double figures. Final Genclik moved-up to twelfth place. Loser Vestel dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. Final Genclik will face Buyukcekmece (#13) in the next round.
