Everything went according to plan in Izmir where sixth ranked Nigde Turk Telekom (2-4) outleveled bottom-ranked Urla BLD (0-5) 82-55 on Saturday. The game without a history. Nigde Turk Telekom led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Urla BLD's 38. Nigde Turk Telekom forced 25 Urla BLD turnovers and outrebounded them 57-30 including a 36-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Urla BLD was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Nevriye Ozbinar (-93) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 19 rebounds. Saliha Bilen (-95) chipped in 21 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Hulya Cakici (-88) who recorded 25 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Sumeyya Ozcan added 16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Nigde Turk Telekom maintains sixth position in Group C with 2-4 record. Newly promoted Urla BLD still closes the standings with five games lost. Nigde Turk Telekom will have a break next round. Urla BLD will play at home against Bursa BSB (#7) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
