Farul Const.'s fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after 11 consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat Concordia (1-9) 78-54. The game without a history. Farul Const. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Guard Cezar Stanescu (191-88) fired 19 points and 6 assists for the winners. Center Marian Minea (203-85) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds. Four Farul Const. players scored in double figures. Serbian forward Aleksandar Vuletic (202-86, college: Indian Hills CC) produced 18 points and 5 rebounds and Bosnian guard Zoran Cvjetkovic (190-90) added 5 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Concordia's coach Vlastimir Vukadinovic gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Farul Const. (1-11) left bottom position moving up to thirteenth place. It was Concordia's third loss in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with nine games lost. Farul Const.'s next round opponent will be league's second-placed Oradea at home and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
