A very interesting game took place in . It ended with only two-point home defeat of 13th ranked Buyukcekmece (4-7) to twelfth ranked Final Genclik (5-5) 74-72 on Saturday evening. The guests were ahead by 1 point but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 20-16 run, which allowed them to win the game. Final Genclik made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Final Genclik had a 27-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Marshall Moses (198-89, college: Oklahoma St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). His fellow American import guard Reginald Holmes (193-87, college: Morgan St., agency: Two Points) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Four Final Genclik players scored in double figures. Forward Erdem Turetken (199-79) answered with 25 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Paris Horne (191-87, college: St.John's) added 11 points in the effort for Buyukcekmece. Buyukcekmece's coach tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Final Genclik moved-up to tenth place. Newly promoted Buyukcekmece keeps the thirteenth position with seven games lost. Final Genclik's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Akhisar Bld at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Buyukcekmece will play against Pertevniyal (#17) in Istanbul and hope to win that game.
