Regular Season Round 10: Falcon - Amager 63-76

The game in Falcon was also quite interesting. Third ranked Amager (8-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Falcon (3-7). Amager defeated Falcon 76-63 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Amager. Falcon managed to win fourth quarter 23-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American power forward Keyona Bryant (186-90, college: St.Augustine) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Catharina Jensen (183-89) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Amager players scored in double figures. Guard Elisabeth Hansen (176-93) produced 17 points and guard Sofie Vincents (174-87) added 9 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Amager moved-up to second place, which they share with Horsholm. Falcon lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with seven games lost. Amager will meet at home league's leader SISU in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Falcon will play against Aabyhoj (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
