There was no surprise in Plunge where 14th ranked Olimpas (3-12) was defeated by fourth ranked Delikatesas (11-4) 85-73 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 12-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-73. Delikatesas dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Olimpas' 32. Power forward Rokas Cepanonis (206-89) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners. Swingman Tadas Rinkunas (195-91) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Center Deividas Keburys (201-90) produced 19 points and 5 rebounds and guard Evaldas Lengvinas (190-89) added 17 points respectively for lost side. Delikatesas have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Olimpas at the other side keeps the fourteenth position with 12 games lost. Delikatesas are looking forward to face Suduva-Mantinga (#11) in Marijampole in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Olimpas will play at home against TiuMenas-Ezer. and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
