Regular Season Round 8: Pulsar - Koksokh-Stal 70-76

Koksokh-Stal has finally registered their first victory this season after seven consecutive loses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Rovno, where they defeated BC-93 Pulsar (1-6) 76-70 on Sunday. Koksokh-Stal looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Jan Selivanov (201-79) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and point guard Yuryi Syndeyev (184-90) who added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists during the contest. Four Koksokh-Stal players scored in double figures. Forward Andrei Artimovic (202-85) responded with 35 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and forward Sergey Roman (205-92) scored 4 points and 15 rebounds. Koksokh-Stal (1-7) left bottom position moving up to fifteenth place. It was BC-93 Pulsar's sixth loss in a row. They dropped to the thirteenth position with six games lost. They share it with Mykolaiv-2. Koksokh-Stal are looking forward to face higher ranked Mykolaiv-2 (#13) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. BC-93 Pulsar will have a break next round.
