The game with biggest result difference took place in Mersin. Local Tarsus Bld (2-7) lost to fourth ranked Istanbul Universitesi (7-2) 82-64 on Sunday night. Istanbul Universitesi dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Tarsus Bld's 38 and made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American power forward Crystal Langhorne (188-86, college: Maryland) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. International point guard Nilay Kartaltepe Yigit (172-79) chipped in 14 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was Bulgarian-American point guard Doneeka Hodges-Lewis (175-82, college: LSU, agency: LBM Management) who recorded 17 points and American Delisha Milton-Jones (186-74, college: Florida, agency: Josep and Nicolas) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Five Istanbul Universitesi and four Tarsus Bld players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Istanbul Universitesi. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Fenerbahce. Loser Tarsus Bld dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. Istanbul Universitesi will face league's second-placed Kayseri at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tarsus Bld will play against the league's leader Galatasaray (#1) in Istanbul and hope to win that game.
