Date: December 7, 2013
Very expected game when 9th ranked Turk Telekom (4-5) lost to fourth ranked Usak (7-2) in Ankara 64-76. The game was mostly controlled by Usak. Turk Telekom was better in fourth quarter 26-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Usak forced 23 Turk Telekom turnovers. The best player for the winners was American forward Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton) who scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import power forward Elijah Holman (208-89, college: Detroit Mercy) chipped in 12 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Five Usak players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian guard Vuk Radivojevic (196-83) who recorded 13 points and 6 assists and Serbian forward Luka Bogdanovic (210-85, agency: Beo Basket) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Turk Telekom's coach Josip Vrankovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Usak have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Karsiyaka and Anadolu Efes. Turk Telekom at the other side keeps the ninth position with five games lost. Usak's next round opponent will be league's leader Banvit BK in Balikesir and it will be for sure the game of the week. Turk Telekom's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Ankara to the arena TED Kolejliler.
