There was a small surprise in Bijeljina where twelfth ranked Radnik B. (2-6) edged 9th ranked Leotar (3-5) 83-80 on Saturday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 26-19. But Leotar won second period 18-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Radnik B. won last quarter 20-19. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Leotar's 30. The best player for the winners was guard Vladimir Radovanovic (191-81) who scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Naturalized Swedish power forward Aleksandar Damjanovic (206-73) chipped in 19 points. Serbian point guard Niksa Nikolic (196-91, agency: Beo Basket) produced 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and Montenegrin guard Milorad Sutulovic (196-90) added 17 points and 7 assists respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Leotar's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Radnik B. moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Kakanj and Capljina. Loser Leotar dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. Radnik B. will face higher ranked Varda HE (#6) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
