Regular Season Round 12: TBB Trier - s.Oliver Baskets 82-77

Date: December 8, 2013
No shocking result in a game when twelfth ranked TBB Trier (5-8) beat at home 17th ranked s Oliver Baskets (2-10) 82-77. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But s Oliver Baskets won third quarter 21-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American-Puerto Rican point guard TreVon Hughes (184-87, college: Wisconsin) who scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. International center Andreas Seiferth (209-89, agency: LUMANI 10.7) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four TBB Trier players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Ricky Harris (187-87, college: Massachusetts, agency: Three Eye Sports) who recorded 25 points and the former international center Christopher McNaughton (211-82, college: Bucknell, agency: Pro One Sports) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively. s Oliver Baskets' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. TBB Trier maintains twelfth position with 5-8 record. s Oliver Baskets at the other side keep the seventeenth place with ten games lost. TBB Trier's next round opponent will be higher ranked ALBA Berlin (#7) on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. s Oliver Baskets will play against EnBW Ludwigsburg (#9) and hope to win that game.
